Senior Qa Analyst
Current• Actively engage in the analysis of User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, and Design Specification Documents to ensure a thorough understanding of the Application and the identification of Test Scenarios• Adhering to the Agile (Scrum) methodology, developing web- and client-server-based applications for a variety of projects.• Responsibilities include developing Test Plans, Test Scenarios, and Test Cases for a variety of types of testing.• Collaboration of the development of a detailed test plan for the application's efficiency testing across multiple browsers.• Actively engage in Agile Scrum ceremonies such as Sprint planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, Retrospective, and Defect Triage meetings. Involved directly in Story Pointing, Task Estimation, and Backlog Grooming, Planning.• Create Test case and design Test Steps for each business functionality for positive/negative test scenarios, in the Test Plan tool which is in VSTS release and bug management tool for agile project.• Use the VSTS to execute test cases by creating Test Sets, manually testing each Test Step, and updating the Status (Pass/Fail/Blocked/Not Run) and logging bugs for all the failed tests.• Use issue section to raise and assign bug, track bugs, retest the bug fixed and monitor the bug until closure. • Utilize ALM in other projects while supporting UAT to create and execute test cases, as well as to log defects.• Create test case coverage metrics and requirement coverage metrics and checked test case run, pass or fail, not run, not run due to defect, total number of open defect and total number of closed defects in Azure DevOps/VSTS.• Generate Defect Status Report, Test Execution Report, and Test Summary report using Azure Test Plan.• Attend weekly status meeting with Developers, Project Manager and Business Analyst to discuss the defects, fixes, and overall testing status.• Write Test Cases for User Acceptance Testing using Use-Case Models, Process Flow Diagrams and Business Rules.
