Infrastructure, hospital, water treatment plants, and bridges are some of my projects that I have performed as part of my responsibilities and role as an expert in civil engineering.

Charged with programme management of Housing Projects contract for the Ministry of Housing (M.o.H) and part of a PMO to manage the project. The Housing Program is part of the Saudi Government program to provide 500,000 housing units to middle class Saudi Families and to meet the growing needs in various regions of Saudi Kingdom. The sites are planned to produce innovative and sustainable mixed use communities, to provide serviced plots for housing units to be built by local beneficiaries and to allocate plots to support social facilities (schools, hospitals, mosques, recreational areas etc...). The Contract is to carry out engineering studies, design and construction supervision for some of the M.o.H’s projects in Assir and Baha districts a total of 33 sites with an approximate total area of thirty million square meters (30 million SQM) and a value of 1 Billion SR. Responsibilities include but not limited to, establishing preparing of Project Management Plan, QA systems and Procurement Procedures, Project Schedule and Costs baselines, conducting Interface Management, Contract Administration, performing Progress Monitoring and Reporting, Cost Control, Risk Management, Managing HSE and Procurement Process, Management of Stakeholders (handling of Citizens and Municipalities concerns).

PMC for Local Roads and Drainage Programme

Charged with guiding completion of capital improvement projects from design and bid processing to construction management and engineering inspection (CEI). Ensured effectiveness of engineering consultants and contractors by developing targeted policies / procedures and monitoring work and performance. Analyzed bids and made recommendations for award of contracts. I was the Engineer of Record (EOR) for Mass Transit Station Project in Pompano Beach. Orchestrated operations for infrastructure and civil projects including roadway widening; bridges, drainage, water, and sewer systems; landscaping and irrigation; traffic mast arms; retaining walls; ponds and lakes; sea walls and bulk heads; and concrete sidewalks and gutters. Supervised project managers, project / professional engineers, and consultants.As Head - Division Inspection Section, conducted inspections to determine that all permitted projects in County “right-of-way” were constructed according to county and state government codes, rules and regulations. Selected Accomplishments:• Orchestrated completion of capital improvement projects including 3 roadway projects and 3 intersection improvements totaling $60M in value. Guided design, construction, and inspection operations.• Optimized department’s operations by meeting and negotiating with County Attorney’s Office, permitting agencies, consultants, and contractors to create agreements and obtain approvals.• Strengthened oversight of consultants’ work and performance by reviewing plans, specifications, invoices / requisitions, and change / purchase orders.• Represented department’s interests with other city and state government agencies, playing important role in development of inter-local and joint agreements.• Recognized for strong skills and performance by receiving promotion from Head - Division Inspection Section to Project Manager IV early in tenure with department.
