I have supported the Local Government Engineering and Rural Development Department (LGE&RDD) in wastewater treatment projects by reviewing design plans and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. My responsibilities included validating treatment processes, optimizing system performance to meet effluent discharge requirements, and conducting cost-benefit analyses.I addressed constructability issues through collaboration with engineering teams and maintained quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) to uphold technical specifications. Additionally, I guided contract administration and procurement, ensuring efficient project execution and contributing to sustainable outcomes for the community.

I have managed the development of detailed engineering designs, progress reports, design calculations, and cost estimates, including the preparation of 65 PC-I documents for construction projects across 500 schools. My responsibilities included supervising geotechnical investigations, conducting surveys, and performing rehabilitation assessments. I actively monitored project execution to ensure compliance with safety standards and budgets. Additionally, I maintained effective communication with the Project Implementation Committee and officials from the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (GoKP) to facilitate seamless project coordination and delivery.

I successfully designed Combined Flow Interceptor Sewers for Peshawar's five major canals and conducted capacity analyses for all related outfall drains and sewage systems. My work involved the creation of detailed engineering design reports, calculations, cost estimates, and PC-I documentation, while overseeing the development of design drawings.I coordinated closely with key stakeholders, including WSSP, the Irrigation Department, and local government officials, to ensure effective collaboration throughout the project. Additionally, I monitored project execution, liaised with various departments, and delivered presentations to the Project Implementation Committee and GoKP officials, providing updates and reinforcing stakeholder engagement.

I led the drainage team for the Peshawar Rapid Bus Transit Project, a key initiative backed by the Asian Development Bank to improve urban mobility. My responsibilities included coordinating with various departments to collect essential data for the project’s design and implementation, which involved understanding concerns related to drainage.I prepared detailed concept and design reports that analyzed current drainage systems to identify weaknesses and proposed optimized sewerage and stormwater networks. Conducting capacity analyses was crucial, as I evaluated existing infrastructure against projected needs based on rainfall patterns and urban growth. I also designed resilient hydraulic structures to withstand extreme weather.Additionally, I mentored a team of graduate engineers, guiding them on best practices and project management. It was rewarding to see our collective efforts not only meet but exceed project objectives.

I was responsible for designing and appraising projects funded by donor organizations like USAID and DFID. My role included ensuring compliance with civil works mechanisms, developing architectural and structural drawings, estimating reconstruction projects, and preparing donor requirements for project implementation. I supervised project management systems, conducted physical assessments of damaged structures, and budgeted for infrastructure rehabilitation after floods or militancy. I also reviewed PC-I proposals for constructing schools and other infrastructure, created progress reporting formats for donor reports, and facilitated effective communication among project implementation teams. Key projects included the reconstruction of over 100 schools in Swat and Malakand, rehabilitation of health facilities, implementation of DWSS schemes in collaboration with PHED, solarization of DWSS schemes in Bannu and DI Khan funded by UNDP, and the reconstruction of the Government Complex in Kabal, Swat.

I worked as part of the design team for the A&E Services for the MSP Peshawar project, which focused on rehabilitating and modifying the city's water supply, sanitation, and solid waste management services in collaboration with USAID Pakistan and the Water and Sanitation services of Peshawar. As part of this project, several drainage designs were completed and are now in the implementation phase, including the GT Road Trunk Sewer, Gulbahar Drainage System upgrade, Bashirabad Sewer System, Shahi Bagh Sewer System, Landi Arbab Drainage upgrade, Afridi Garhi to Gulbahar Drainage, Tehkal Bala Drainage System, Muhammad Zai Drain, Shahi Katha Drain, and water supply improvements in Zones A, B, and D. Additionally, public toilets were constructed at various bus stands in Peshawar. My responsibilities involved coordinating with various departmental representatives for data collection, producing concept and design reports, assessing existing drainage systems, planning and designing modified sewerage networks, conducting capacity analyses, and designing water-retaining and hydraulic structures where needed. I also mentored and guided a team of graduate engineers working on the project.

I worked as part of the Stormwater and Sanitation assessment team for the Peshawar Master Planning Project in coordination with USAID Pakistan. My responsibilities included coordinating visits and meetings with representatives of various departments in Peshawar to collect data and information, writing technical reports, and assessing the capacity and condition of existing drainage systems. I was involved in gathering field data to evaluate the adequacy of the current system, identifying future infrastructure needs, and assessing sewage treatment plants. Additionally, I contributed to the planning and design of the sewerage network, conducted capacity analyses, designed the proposed sewer and drainage systems, and performed structural assessments of water-retaining structures.

I successfully oversaw the design and management of the PATRIP infrastructure development project, which involved the reconstruction of critical infrastructure in the FATA and KPK regions. This included three 12 km roads and three Basic Health Units, along with notable projects such as the 22 km road from Parachinar to the Afghanistan border, 12 km road from Kaga to Kaga Pass in Bajaur Agency, and 15 km road from Sahibabad, Dir to the Afghanistan border. Additionally, I managed the reconstruction of two civil dispensaries in Landi Kotal, Khyber Agency, and a Basic Health Unit in Bajaur Agency. My contributions encompassed preparing BOQs, administering contracts, and liaising effectively with architectural and engineering consultants. I built strong relationships with stakeholders, provided training to project teams, and ensured quality, compliance, and adherence to schedules. By evaluating project performance and incorporating feedback into ongoing and future initiatives, I ensured the project's success while delivering qualitative progress reports to donors and maintaining compliance with rigorous documentation and procurement standards.

During my tenure, I contributed to the design and successful execution of the Swabi Model School and Mufti Mehmood Public School projects. My responsibilities encompassed structural design and 3-D modeling, as well as coordinating with architects, clients, and contractors to ensure seamless project delivery from conception to completion. I managed critical aspects such as costing, material selection, and value engineering while producing comprehensive monthly and quarterly progress reports. I conducted environmental and risk assessments at various project stages, supervised construction activities, and provided on-site solutions to emerging challenges. Additionally, I played an active role in design team meetings and ensured consistent project monitoring and supervision, resulting in the timely and high-quality completion of both projects.

During my tenure with Pick Everard, I served as a structural design engineer on a wide range of education, commercial, and residential projects with a total value of up to £110 million. Notable achievements include designing and 3D modeling major structures such as the Northampton College campuses (Lower Mounts and Booth Lane), where I utilized RAM software for structural analysis and provided innovative solutions to on-site challenges. I contributed to critical infrastructure projects, including water supply and sanitation systems for Severn Trent Water in the East Midlands, and designed steel-framed buildings for Cambridge Regional College.Additionally, I played a key role in projects such as Hicks Lodge, a timber-framed structure in the National Forest, and led design efforts for multiple school extensions and refurbishments, including Richmond Schools in London. My expertise extends across materials like steel, concrete, timber, and masonry, and I am proficient in industry-leading design software. Beyond technical design, I ensured seamless project execution by collaborating with architects, contractors, and clients, conducting environmental and risk assessments, and delivering comprehensive progress reports. These accomplishments demonstrate my ability to deliver high-quality designs while maintaining effective project management and stakeholder engagement.

I designed structural steel frames for mezzanine floors, ensuring functionality and compliance with client needs. Conducting site surveys, I prepared detailed plans and fabrication drawings to meet rigorous standards. My effective communication fostered strong client relationships and alignment on project goals. TI successfully managed the construction of the Karak High School, Karak Hospital, and a water supply scheme, ensuring all projects met quality standards and deadlines. I prepared detailed drawings and conducted structural design and 3D modeling for the high school, optimizing its integrity. My role included site surveys, feasibility studies, and project progress reports to ensure transparency. I also collaborated closely with clients and contractors for smooth project execution.
