As a Museum Planner and the founder of Museum Planning, LLC, I have been part of opening and expanding more than 40 museums worldwide since 1999. My firm specializes in museum master planning, exhibition design, and project management for science centers, art museums, history museums, children's museums, and visitor centers. Walhimer is author of Museums 101, a how-to guide for creating and organizing all varieties of museums.Walhimer has a bachelor’s degree in studio art from Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, New York, and a master’s degree in industrial design and exhibition design from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York. -
