• Participate in the review and interpretation circuit diagrams, construction drawing and repair manuals.
• Operate heavy machinery (i.e. bucket trucks, line trucks, etc.) used to repair overhead wire, streetlights and damaged poles.

• Perform routine scheduled maintenance on streetlight, traffic signal, and other city owned properties.
• Read and interpret circuit diagrams, construction blueprints and repair manuals.
• Assist with maintenance and repair of pumps, motor, electrical equipment and other related equipment.
• Prepare plans and specifications for procurement of parts and supplies on assigned projects.
• Insure that proper safety precautions and safe work methods are followed.
