Lead Strategy and Business Development activities

Responsible for leading the company's operations in the Kingdom, accelerating growth and exploring opportunities for public-private partnerships. This will include coordinating the company's relationship with Saudi Arabia and providing strategic support to the company's Middle East business activities.

Deputy Chairman and Board member

Primarily responsible for developing new policies & strategies for promotion, expansion and sustainable development of Industrial sector of the country. Creating increased industrial activities in the country and support the diversification effort of the Kingdom. Developing and consolidating efficient, profitable industry capable of contributing to economic growth, increasing national product (especially industrial exports & non-oil based Industries), furthering economic progress, and integrating the Kingdom's economy into that of the developed world. Leading Localization activities including Technology & Knowledge Transfer. Establishment of the National Center for SMEs.

Consultant to the His Excellency the Minister and Leading Strategic initiatives at the Ministry of Commerce & Industry

- Ensuring the management, the development and the effective performance of the Board of Directors, and provides leadership to the Board for all aspects of the Board’s work.- Act in an advisory capacity to the President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and to other officers in all matters concerning the interests and management of the Corporation.- In consultation with the CEO, played a role in the Corporation’s external relationships.

Develop and lead the implementation of appropriate Strategy (ies) for the maintenance and development of the Portfolio of companies within the context of BAE Systems strategy. Maximise the value BAE Systems’ shareholders derive from the KSA portfolio of companies. Ensure the BAE Systems KSA portfolio is tailored to the needs of BAE Systems’ business and must establish protocols necessary to achieve efficient interaction with the KSA portfolio. Develop, implement and maintain Corporate Governance for the Portfolio. Develop, implement and maintain appropriate Strategic and Operational Stakeholder relationships in respect of the Portfolio. Hold a position on the Board of the companies within the portfolio.

Director of Industrial Strategy. Supported the creation and development of indigenous Defence and Aerospace infrastructure and capabilities in which the Saudi Arabian companies operate an effective, profitable and sustainable business. Created an Industrialisation Plan to ensure the effective delivery of Industrialisation requirements to the Saudi Arabian Government which includes training, development, investment, technology and work transfer to Saudi Arabian Companies. The role requires the delivery of £100,000,000 of business prospects to the Economic Offset Companies EOCs in KSA.

Delivered the Company’s industrial strategy for the expansion of the Saudi Arabian indigenous capability in the field of Manufacturing, Engineering, Training and related support activities, in line with the Offset commitment to Saudi Arabia. Managed and Coordinated all the work transfer with both the Original Equipment Manufacturers worldwide and the Economic Offset Companies (EOCs) in Saudi Arabia. Guided the development of the EOCs’ capability, capacity and investment planning. Identified and delivered business development opportunities to both EOCs & BAE Systems.

Established Corporate Identity and acted as spokesperson for the Company in the Middle East. Interpreted global management strategy into winning messages. Improved communications between the Company and its employees. Acted as Middle East Public Relations & Communications leader in liaison with the Marketing and Communications functions at Company HQ in the UK and North America.
