Managing the Banks’ Nostro Accounts for foreign currencies in terms of risks, associated cost management and returns, through investing the surplus and the covering of any deficit to maintain the appropriate liquidity to facilitate the Banks’ smooth operations and payments. Preparing Daily Reports to head of section and department. Issuing treasury compliance reports on a monthly basis.

Searching & looking up new portfolio investments. Following up on existing investments and analyzing their performances. Studying different offers and recommending them (if seen to meet our investment guidelines). Monitoring the global debt and equity markets as a whole, along with global events, especially those that affect our already existing investments as well as the proposed investments. Responsible for monitoring and administering the banks’ Money Market Fund (Osoul Fund in EGP) and Equity Fund (Istethmar Fund in EGP), in addition to actively participating in the preparation for the launch of new members to be added to the CIB family of funds.

Tasks concerning Placing, Raising, Interest Rate Swap (IRS) Deals, & Currency Swap deals along with Treasury Bills & Time Deposits. Execution of payments via S.W.I.F.T
