▪ Final line of support for access/core network incidents & global subscribers’ incidents.▪ Managing & Supporting Vodafone International Links - Maintaining Vodafone international links within the agreed utilization thresholds. - Redistributing Internet traffic over international links in case of link failure or to avoid congestion. - Using Arbor Peak Flow SP collector to detect possible DDOS attacks. - Taking the proper mitigation steps to stop these attacks either by black holing the attack traffic or forwarding it to Arbor TMS to drop attack traffic & pass legitimate traffic. - Reaching an agreement with upstream providers to share the mitigation techniques in order to secure Vodafone international links.▪ Supporting and Maintaining Vodafone CDN [Content Delivery Network]: - Supporting Google & Akamai Caching Farms. - Supporting transparent local caching farms using F5 & Brocade load balancers and Blue Coat cache flow servers.▪ Vendor Management: - Opening trouble tickets with vendors. - Periodic vendor evaluation.▪ Work Orders Verification & Implementation: - Discussing with the design teams the new technologies that may enhance network performance from operations perspective. - Validating the new technologies and operation models introduced by the design teams. - Executing work orders prepared by design teams.▪ Hands on Experience in configuring & troubleshooting - LAN & WAN technologies [Ethernet, MPLS, ATM, PPP], MPLS Applications [MPLS TE, Inter AS VPNs, AToM]. - Various routing protocols [RIP, OSPF, ISIS & BGP] & switching technologies [STP, VLANs, Trunking]. - Cisco GSRs, ASR 9K, ASR 1K, 7600, 7200 & 1800 series. - Juniper M series, E series, ERX and MX-960. - Huawei NE Routers, OSNs & MA5600T DSLAMs. - Alcatel routers & DSLAMs. - Cisco Secure ACS.

• Configuring L2/L3 WAN connectivity for our customers through our MPLS VPN Network.• Responding to customer change requests for the existing connections.• Handling different PE-CE routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, RIP, and Static).• Enabling APN different solutions for 3G connections (3G-WIC, POS, and PC-Connectivity).• Activating Inter-AS with International Service Providers (C&WW, Zajil, Verizon…etc.).• Configuring Multi-homed BGP customers.• Delivering the Cloud Computing and VoIP services to our customers through our Network.• Attending technical meetings with the customer to discuss the technical details for his projects.• Developing scripts using TCL, Python, and Linux Bash for data collection and reachability tests.• Configuring Network/Customer Switches (ME3400 and 2960G series).• Private and Public IPs address management for the network nodes and the Internet customers.• Managing the L2/L3 customers’ migration from Cisco IOS XR to IOS XE routers.• Upgrading software for Network nodes (Cisco ASR1002/1006, Huawei NE20 and ATN950).• Configuring and activating new MPLS PE routers (Cisco ASR1002 and ASR1006).• Configuring access network devices in lab before being deployed in the Network.• Activating and expanding ADSL and SDSL sites with new aggregation nodes (Huawei NE40, NE20, and ATN950 Routers also Huawei MT5600T DSLAMs and Alcatel 7356 DSLAMs).• Applying MPLS TE for Multi-homed sites.• Working on BRAS/BNG nodes to manage the L3 termination of our ADSL customers.
