Fourth nursing placement through McMaster UniversityHome visits to deliver various types of palliative care involving symptom management, pleural effusion management, wound care, chronic disease assessment, social support, and comfort for patients and families during end-of-life crises.

Third nursing placement through McMaster University. Primarily in the Mat/Child unit, but included days in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit as well as in Labour & Delivery and the Breastfeeding and Newborn Assessment clinic.

Second nursing placement through McMaster University. The F4 ward contained primarily mastectomy patients as well as patients with breast and gastrointestinal cancers. This unit provided ample time to learn ostomy care and time management skills atop basic medical/surgical nursing skills.

First nursing placement through McMaster University. CTU-North is a General Internal Medicine floor.Solidified the basics of patient communication, hygiene care, medications, and so forth, while being an introduction to some chronic conditions requiring airway management on the Complex Continuing Care Unit.
