About Walker Wright
I'm a software engineer based in the greater Danbury area of Western Connecticut. My current role is as a full stack developer on the Business Intelligence team at FactSet Research Systems, where my responsibilities have me solving a variety of problems using a range of technologies. I was brought up on Java and C, but my most exercised skillsets right now are C# (ASP.NET MVC & WebAPI), AngularJS, SQL Server & SQL Analysis Services, and MDX. The nature of my current work has me combining these various skills to create software that pulls and displays important business data in a variety of interesting and presentable ways, depending on who is looking at it and what they want out of it. As a BI infrastructure engineer, I am responsible for building and maintaining our team's middle tier and UI infrastructure, as well as contributing heavily to our front-end applications.
