Global Alloys is a manufacturer of non-ferrous metals and alloys that supplies customers nationally in Australia and New Zealand.I successfully completed a trade sale of Global Alloys achieving a favourable outcome for the shareholders, I was heavily involved in in all facets of the sale including valuation, negotiation, contract formation and completion.Prior to the sale, I was ultimately responsible for the day to day operations of the business with full balance sheet and P&L accountability. I also personally managed the key customer and supplier accounts.• Increased sales > 35% between 2010 and 2011 (full year run rate)• Successfully tendered and won three year contract with an Australian Government supplier valued at $500k per year at > 20% GP.• Re-financed working capital to achieve a decrease in funding costs of > 4% on outstanding debt.• Decreased long term (90 days) debtor days from 25% of total debtors to < 2% of total.

Rype is a mobile job invoicing and payment solution for any business that does onsite time and materials billing. The application is a SaaS solution targeted at small businesses to assist in bringing field service efficiencies into their business.

As commercial manager I was responsible for setting the overall business strategy, including go to market strategy, funding strategy and mix and production mix. Achievements include:• Complete business plan (information memorandum) development, strategy, writing for the purpose of debt and equity capital raising.• Secured $2 million of debt funding from one of the ‘Big 4’ Australian banks.• Successfully negotiated the terms to acquire a complementary aluminium business to provide expertise, plant and equipment.• Undertook global plant and equipment search

Novus Metals Group was a company incorporated for the sole purpose of bidding for a large multi year aluminium supply contract to an ASX listed mining company. I was responsible for the bid structure, customer due diligence, value proposition offering, pricing structure, management of key stakeholders (including C-level), contract negotiation and execution.• Overcame a global list of competitors including those from South Africa, India, China and South Korea.• Executed a contract with forecasted revenue over the life of the contract of AUD $94 million, with a contribution margin of AUD $19 million.
