It would incorporate principles of permaculture in it's design. Food would be grown in an aquaponic greenhouse on the roof. Solar and wind power would mesh simply with the greenhouse. Recycled train containers (or something like that) would be used in a this passive house designed live/work unit. Tenants would live on the top 3 floors above ground level retail shops where they might work and serve the local population. A local restaurant/market would offer fish and vegetables from the rooftop. All waste would be treated in a living machine. I work with all stages of Green building to help people that among other things: 1) are terrified their green roof will leak 2) are worried plants in/on their building will take more maintenance or cause headaches 3) have been burned before with poor installs and lackluster customer service.I prefer to bring an integrative design approach to the projects I am involved with.
