After NabeWise was acquired by Airbnb, I built the neighborhood database for the Neighborhoods application, contributed to the product's design, and managed a team of contract cartographers. Between 2012 and 2015 I mapped over 7,000 neighborhoods, did cartographic and data visualization work for various departments across the company, and redesigned our internal mapping tools.In 2015 I joined the Policy Research team and focused on cartography, data visualization, and data analysis to help policy makers all over the world understand Airbnb's impact on their cities. I and a team of two other people built in-depth studies on the demographics of Airbnb communities, the financial impacts of Airbnb guests and hosts, and various other statistics as required by a city's particular situation.

Developed new city rollout processes and mapping theories relating to how NabeWise represents various styles of neighborhoods.
