Healthcare BLS certified, member and Coordinator of the Diligent Safe Patient Handling Team, Transfer Mobility Coach (trains others in the use of assistance devices), and member of the Employee Recognition Committee.Rounds on floors to ensure that safe patient handling is part of the culture and not an afterthought, working toward the reduction and eventual elimination of employee injuries from moving patients.Creates healthy working relationships with members of nursing departments and directors of diagnostic departments served.Familiar with Environment of Care, specifically Life Safety/Fire Safety. Provides leadership and departmental supervision by managing the Service Center Office Staff, Support Service Associates, Couriers, Central Transport Dispatcher and Transport Aides.Oversees all day-to-day operations and conducts annual performance appraisals for Support Service Center and Central Transport departments. Facilitates continuing education for both departments with emphasis on team building, communication, leadership and diversity.Develops departmental policies and position descriptions, ensuring that related employee evaluations contain quantifiable standards to measure performance.Administering online work request server and working to develop a web-based upgrade to current facilities database (to include new Central Transport automated dispatch), working with developers at Aramark to bring this project to fruition.Provides administrative support to Director, Facility Services.

Responsible for typing/editing correspondence, calendar management, recording/typing meeting minutes, creating quarterly and annual reports for several facilities departments (including the taking and editing of photographs, creation of graphics and layout), assisting supervisor with payroll, status changes and typing of policies, job descriptions and evaluation forms. Keyed maintenance work orders and ran monthly reports when Receptionist was out.

Created a small, personalized portrait business from my home in 2007. Expanded by building a studio dedicated to portraiture. Now offering green screen portraits, as well as location portraits, and commercial/product projects. Our belief is that everyone deserves good, quality portraits in a relaxed, fun setting at a decent price.
