Hello! I am a project manager for Success for All. In this position, I manage a team of print and software developers working on publication of reading curriculum for Pre-Kindergarten - High School aged students based on the Science of Reading. Our program is a comprehensive curriculum with additional educational tools to remediate students’ below grade level. I also currently work with ETS and MSDE to write test questions for the MCAP assessment based on MDCCSS. Previously I was an elementary education teacher. I have instructed third graders in all elementary subjects including English/language arts, math, science, social studies and health. I have significant experience modifying curriculum and creating activities for students who have academic and behavioral individualized education plans. I also have experience writing and creating curriculum resources for my district, especially in social studies. As an elementary educator I have been afforded the opportunity to create and present professional development for my colleagues both in person and in a remote setting. Due to having a strong background with using technology in the classroom, I was my school's Technology Liaison and member of the Online Teaching Cadre which focused on bringing and using technology to the classroom in equitable and meaningful ways. Additionally, I have leadership experience being a member of our school's leadership team, climate team, equity team and engagement programs as well as a member of my district's equity liaison, professional learning liaison, and social studies curriculum liaison groups. Finally, I have significant experience creating and integrating STEM based activities into all classroom curriculum from grades K-5. With my experiences I am looking forward to continuing to expand knowledge in and outside of education.
