I represent private equity firms and their platform companies, as well as health systems, clinical practices, and other health industry clients, in a variety of transactions and regulatory matters. I advise healthcare clients through the full lifecycle of complex transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments and divestitures, management and professional service arrangements, corporate reorganizations and joint ventures. I have advised on physician practice management and ASC transactions in several specialized areas, including urology, cardiology, and dentistry.I also advise clients on nuanced regulatory matters as they navigate compliance issues, including facility licensing, reimbursement, and corporate practice of medicine laws, as well as other legal, regulatory, and business issues that impact healthcare providers.In terms of community engagement, I sit on the Steering Committee for the Fellowships at Auschwitz for the Study of Professional Ethics and on the Executive Council of the Cara Collective. I am also a member of the American Health Lawyers Association and the Illinois Association of Healthcare Attorneys and maintain an active pro bono practice.
