Being a Major League Hacking Coach involved traveling to collegiate hackathon events during the weekend to partner with student organizers of the event and facilitate a smooth run of show from start to finish.During the hackathons, I would work on a variety of things such as help student participants debug their code, work with organizers to improve how the event is running, run sponsored mini-events on behalf of MLH and their sponsors, promote MLH and their sponsors to students at the event, and more.

HackCU provides a space for over 600 students to come and "hack"​ for 12, 24, or 36 hours straight during one weekend. Projects range from websites to robots.Responsibilities for HackCU 2015 included fundraising over $25,000 in sponsorship, working with CU Boulder administration, location/operation logistics, and graphic design. Required intensive event planning and creation of the Board of Directors for HackCU. Responsibilities for HackCU 2016 included all from 2015, but more focused on tech and media aspects such as running social media outlets, completely redesigning logos/t-shirts/branding, and website development.Responsibilities for HackCU III in 2017 included everything from the past years, but a focus on the management of the team and ensuring that things were running smoothly as the Director of HackCU. 2017 also included a lot of work to set the remaining team up for success given I was the final founding member graduating in 2017.More information at HackCU.org

The user data system enabled us to track user engagement, manage user feedback, and prioritize improvements for the development of GmailMeter. Ran an email marketing campaign that led to gaining 8,000 users of the product during my three-month internship.

After working as a Help Desk Technician for two years, I was promoted to the Student Manager position. Along with my Help Desk Technician responsibilities, as Manager I also made sure the other Help Desk Technicians were properly trained and stayed on task during their work hours. I also worked to ensure that the Help Desk was operating smoothly and that the customers seeking help were satisfied with the job that was being done.

For two years of school, I worked at the University High School Help Desk. As a Help Desk Technician, I was available to students and faculty for all types of computer help. Every student at U-High had a netbook computer and there was naturally a lot of wear and tear on the computers and many problems to be resolved. I became proficient at troubleshooting, problem-solving, and hands-on computer repair. Challenges I helped with ranged from repairing a computer of a student who set his computer on fire, to repairing a computer that a student spilled milk on three separate times, to basic IT issues and software upgrades.During the summer months, I was also hired by Illinois State University as part of a small team to repair and refurbish all 600 student netbook computers. The team would access each computer, and inventory hardware damage and required repairs. Then our team would begin repairing all damage and replacing any necessary parts to the computers, as well as any necessary software updates and configurations
