Created an economic development strategy focused on Outdoor Recreation, Historic Tourism and the Creative Industries for the City of Trinidad, Colorado, and led a staff of four to execute that strategy. During my tenure the City experienced major economic growth and has been recognized by the Denver Post as becoming “Colorado’s next great art, music and culture enclave”.- Facilitated Trinidad's “Housing Now” Incentive Program, committing $1,225,000 from the city's general fund to provide gap funding for 91 housing units and spurring on over $23 million of investment into the city. - Project Manager for the Trinidad Space to Create Development, a partnership exceeding $20 million in investment from the City of Trinidad, Colorado Creative Industries and Artspace LLC to redevelop a historic downtown block for use as residential, commercial and office space.- Developed and facilitated a COVID-19 business assistance grant program that administered $300,000 to 93 businesses impacted by the pandemic.- Recruited numerous businesses to open locations in formerly vacant buildings in Trinidad including; Sexy Pizza, Trinidad Lounge, Mutiny Information Cafe, The Ten Penny, Khessed Wellness, Tarantula Cycles, Grandma's House Brewery and Cody Keuhl Fine Arts.
