The Board reviews evidence from the Central Appraisal Board of Denton County and home owners, businesses and land owners, protesting their tax statements and rules in favor of one or the other based on presented evidence.

Retired from Metrostudy in December, 2008, In my own company I am available for hands-on consulting on product, marketing, merchandising, advertising, land planning and short and long term stategic planning as well as market research on feasibilty, product, absorption, marketing and sales supervision.

Council provides support for local corps through fund raising, events, support for ongoing programs, budgeting and advise on current events in Denton County.

I was active in training on-site sales consultants and sales and marketing managers of major and minor sized builders and developers throughout the country.

Mr. Davis, known as Wally, was Director, National Consulting, for Metrostudy. His company provided housing market research, market studies, real estate consulting, market information and strategy planning for clients throughout the United States. Since becoming a consultant, Davis has completed over 350 market studies for over 250 clients throughout the United States.

Managed all marketing aspects for clients throughout the country. From selecting land planners, architects, product selection, sales and marketing staff selection and monitoring for clients of my company with clients from Boston area to Kansas and North Carolina to Florida. Also wrote approximately 20 market evaluations each year for individual countrywide clients.

Involved in all aspects of management and decision making in the company. Participated in land search, land purchase, land planning, product selection and pricing, lot pricing and premiums, marketing, sales and closings (mortgage liason). In 1979, Davis was chosen as the marketing director of the year by the Dallas HBA's McSam Awards of the SMC.

Responsible for the management of 45 +/- sales persons in three Texas cities. Was also responsible for all marketing efforts in Texas, including model homes, advertising, public relations and merchandising. As a secondary responsibility Davis was in charge of land disposal of properties not tp be developed, including retail and commercial land in Texas and Oklahoma. Partipated in all home design decisions and land acquisitions and did research on the feasibily and absorption potential of all land acquisiton and land development.
