Responsible for the humanities calendar, social media, website, and providing program support for the Center.

Executive staff administrator overseeing student services functions for the largest college at UNC Charlotte, with 18 academic departments and more than 7,500 undergraduate students. Duties included:● Review and authorize student requests requiring college approval.● Communicate and interpret academic policy for department chairs, advisors, faculty, and staff, as well as students, parents, and other visitors.● Engage with issues that bridge student affairs and academic affairs.● Mentor and advise students regarding university policy, curriculum, and college procedures.● Liaise with Registrar’s Office, Dean of Students, Office of Undergraduate Education, Provost's Office.● Administer and select recipients for college-level scholarship awards.● Lead a presentation for hundreds of new freshman and transfer students during Student Orientation, Advising & Registration (SOAR).● Manage graduate lineup in preparation for the processional during commencement exercises each May and December.● Chair the BRIDGES Selection Committee to determine recipients for funding to attend the UNC System-wide BRIDGES Academic Leadership for Women program in Chapel Hill.

At various times:● Curriculum development, redesign of the University Honors Program Freshman Colloquium course. ● Teach HONR 1700 Freshman Colloquium in Fall 2016, Spring 2017, Fall 2017.● Application review for incoming freshman class.● Provide guidance and feedback for students completing their Honors Senior Project (HONR 3791).● Participated in a study abroad program in Dublin, Edinburgh, and London during Spring Break 2018. Assisted with feedback and evaluation for students in the program.

BRIDGES is an intensive leadership development program for women in higher education, held in Chapel Hill during each fall semester. Through BRIDGES, I am working with exceptional women across the state of North Carolina, from both public and private institutions, to strengthen our academic leadership capabilities. The ultimate goal of the program is to help us identify, understand, and move into leadership roles in the academy.
