County Electric Supply is a $25 million electrical distributer with four affiliates. Independently owned and operated, CES is an electrical supplies wholesaler serving commercial and industrial contractors, residential customers and many institutions throughout the Philadelphia and the tri-state area.I provided reporting and accounting process solutions to CES, and my financial solutions reduced the overall monthly reporting time by 10 percent and increased the accuracy of reported data to 100 percent. I also developed a database of 15,000-plus customers and was instrumental in the development of a customer sales promotion for CES that increased sales by 16 percent.

Midtown Development, LLC is a privately held, owner operated, real estate development company headquartered in Lansdale, PA. As a member of Midtown Development, I led a $42 million, 47-unit condominium project and managed all business and financial matters related to the project. As the project “financial” partner, I advised my two other business partners that we should not proceed with the project, a good move on our part.

I was recruited by National Liberty to manage its Statutory Financial Reporting Department. In that position, I automated processes for the statutory and GAAP reporting of four insurance companies affiliated with National Liberty. I was recognized for developing the first reconciliation of statutory financial statements to the GAAP financial statements and for identifying marketing cost savings/deferrals totaling $1.95 million. I also developed logical methods of allocating costs across business units to communicate the profitability of the organization and created project accounting automated systems that enabled expense management to reallocate three fulltime positions.

Ernst & Young (EY) is a multinational professional services firm, known as one of the "Big Eight" accounting firms.I began my career at Ernest & Young, which serves a diverse client base including private, public, and Fortune 500 clients.I was assigned to the audit of National Liberty while an employee of Ernst& Young. While performing audit procedures, I noted to the client several opportunities for streamlining accounting processes. Those recommendations led to discussions about me joining National Liberty’s team.
