Renterra is a modern, cloud-based rental software that aims to dramatically improve the way equipment rental companies run their business.

Co-Founded a new venture capital firm and designed investment thesis built around investing in technology companies with significant early success, a well-developed product and outstanding leadership. Placed a special emphasis on our ability to identify exceptional leaders and develop them as their businesses grow. Created the firm from the ground up, building all sales, financial and operational procedures. Led firm’s business development activities and developed solid relationships and outstanding reputation both in the entrepreneurial community and among other investors and stakeholders in the entrepreneurial ecosystem. Met with hundreds of companies and advised the teams on strategy, personnel development, systems development and investor pitch.

Working alongside existing leadership teams to evaluate organizational structure, build/evaluate systems and processes, evaluate comp plans and bring the different functional areas of the business to bear in order to act on the intent of the leadership team.

Senior executive at the largest local commercial real estate firm in Austin covering office, industrial and retail. Lead operations, strategy development and marketing functions and provided insight to firm's founders on scaling the business and developing the culture. Oversaw the largest year-over-year growth in the history of the firm.

Founded Altair as a new dedicated fund to invest in Austin commercial real estate. Developed name, brand and website for an entirely new company to administer the fund. Built investor deck and secured investor meetings resulting in filling out half of the fund's target size within 10 weeks.

Direct sales and business development responsibilities for the company's RFID-enabled Asset Management solution, which is a combination of hardware and proprietary software. Specific responsibility for client interface with Emergency Management solution. Advised CEO/CFO on strategic development issues for company and its products.

Managed P&L and operations for $35M well service division and $10M water transfer division of a $200M oilfield services company, directing 200 employees and offices in TX, CO, CA and ND. Oversaw maintenance on equipment valued at $45M.

Recruited, trained and led top producing unit in the Southern Region of the U.S. Concurrently developed and managed individual book of business, garnering top 10 recognition among peers in the Southern Region and top 50 nationwide.

Directed operations for three branch offices in Texas and Louisiana. Created business development plans, improved internal processes and managed $13M budget. Served as primary point of contact for construction of new 25,000 square foot facility in Beaumont, Texas.

Developed plans and probable financials for cold start branch office in San Antonio, the company's first ever full service branch supporting four product lines. Secured CEO and EVP buy-in and budget. Located office site and facility, engaged contractor to build out significant facility upgrades and hired and trained 9 employees who achieved over $1M in revenue during the first 9 months of operation.

Overall leadership and P&L responsibility for $18M division consisting of three equipment rental branches with 50 employees in two states. Transitioned family-owned business into corporate-owned enterprise with extremely low turnover. Expanded division from 14 to 50 people in multiple locations, generating 4x increase in revenue. Led division to ranking as #1 distributor in the U.S. in overall sales volume.

Tank Company Executive Officer, serving as second in command of an M1A1 tank company with 65 soldiers. Oversaw maintenance program and combat readiness for 14 tanks and associated wheeled and tracked vehicles valued at $45M. Developed cyclic maintenance program that was adopted as SOP for all tank companies in the battalion.Tank Company Platoon Leader, overseeing training, health and welfare of 16 soldiers and maintenance of 4 M1A1 tanks and associated equipment valued at $10M.
