Hi, my name is Walt Murray. I have a great desire to help people and businesses succeed.I currently perform audits for public and private entities, specifically in the financial services for the electric and telecom industries. Prior to Deloitte, I worked in an internal accounting role processing invoices and checks daily. In addition to my experience in public accounting, I have taught GAAP accounting to students at Texas State to help them achieve their accounting goals.During college, I enjoyed the opportunity to be involved in Beta Alpha Psi as Vice President, which allowed me to network with accounting professionals and students. Additionally, I had the opportunity to be the Vice President of the American Marketing Association where I learned how to market myself to others and developed my communication skills as a leader.In addition to working, I am passionate about being involved in growing a company from the ground up and performing a variety of duties to help ensure company success.
