EXPERIENCE:Trained by Mostafa Tabassomi M.D. to assist in numerous Interventional Pulmonary procedures:Procedures include EBUS (endobronchial ultrasound), Navigational bronchoscopy (Super D), Bronchial Thermoplasty, Endobronchial Tumor Destruction, Balloon bronchoplasty, Biopsy of lung or lymph node, Bronchoalveolar lavage, Foreign body removal, Thoracentesis, Indwelling pleural catheter placement and removal, as well as assist with tracheostomies, Manage ventilators, assist with intubations and extubations. Preforms well under pressure, part of the trauma team and the Rapid Response Team.Known to be a team player. Helps orient students and hew hires in the Respiratory Therapy department. Administers O2 safety briefing at general orientation to all new hires. Responds to code stemi’s, code neuros and code blue’s. Recipient of multiple Henry Hero awards for teamwork and patient care.
