Overall responsibility for leading the firms’ Johannesburg office, including staff performance management, client legal consultations, Civil and Commercial litigation, running trial matters from inception to conclusion, debt collection process, Property Law, Commercial contract Drafting, Criminal Law, Motor Vehicle Accident Claims, Matrimonial Law, Family Law and Arbitration (Dispute Resolution).Fields of Law:Property Litigation (Specialist), including but not limited to all aspects of property litigation, evictions (commercial and residential), Rent Interdict Summons, Section 32 Applications, as well as drafting and interpretation of lease agreements in compliance with and / or in terms of the provisions of the National Credit Act and the Consumer Protection Act. Commercial & General Litigation, including but not limited to litigating contractual disputes, giving effect to dispute resolution clauses including arbitration proceedings.Matrimonial and Family Law, including but not limited to all aspects relating to divorce, drafting of settlement agreements as well as all aspects relating to children, which includes but is not limited to custody, maintenance applications, domestic violence applications, and working closely with Clinical Forensic Psychologists. Commercial Contract Drafting, including but not limited to drafting of commercial contracts as well as consideration of commercial contracts and advising clients by way of opinion. Experience in field of Personal Injury Law, more specifically Motor Vehicle Accidents and the Road Accident Fund, and have the necessary referral structure in place with a colleague.
