I lead the delivery of risk, control, assurance, internal audit, analytics, regulatory reporting and compliance, service auditor reporting, security and advisory services to range of clients including energy suppliers and networks, water companies, industry bodies, settlement/market operators, infrastructure providers/operators and regulators, in the UK and abroad. I have delivered presentations on industry issues at national and international conferences, and contributed articles and thought pieces for leading industry and Deloitte publications.

Renewable Energy Consumer Code (RECC) (previously known as the REAL Consumer Code) was set up by the Renewable Energy Association (REA) in 2006 to ensure that consumers would know that they could expect high standards of consumer protection when buying or leasing small–scale energy generation systems for their homes. Members of the Code display a logo on their documentation to reassure consumers about the level of service they provide. The Code is approved by the Consumer Codes Approval Scheme, a self-regulation initiative run by the Trading Standards Institute. A Supervisory Panel oversees the adoption, maintenance and updating of Code. Members of the Panel are drawn from a wide range of stakeholder organisations. Some are involved in the sustainable energy industry directly, some indirectly and others are independent.
