Vice President of Operations: Responsible for the operation side of up to 19 hotels insuring that financial results, guest service scores, Associate Satisfaction and adherence to all brand standard are all met if not exceeded. As a Vice President of Operations I worked with brands including, Hampton’s, Homewood’s, Embassy Suites, Holiday Inn Express, Residence Inns, Crown Plaza’s and Hyatt Place brands.

General Manager: A189 room 30 year old hotel with 80 seat restaurant/lounge and 12,000 sq feet of banquet space. From December 2001 to December 2005 the hotels total revenues grew $1,212,150 (26.74%) and GOP grew $852,083 (153.87%). Rev Par growth over this same time period went from $41.07 to $58.24. I achieved an Associate Satisfaction score of 85 placing our hotel 5 points higher than the companies average score. Trained associates in the “People Notice” guest service program that was rolled out in 2005 by IHG hotels. The properties current Overall Guest Satisfaction score finished in the “Commendable” range for 2005.

Responsible for the overseeing of this 160 room mostly suite full service property that generated total sales of $5,003,128 in 2000. For the year 2000 hotel total sale increased $228,807 while GOP increased $128,631 over 1999. I was able to increased occupancy 9.9% and REVPAR 5.5% in 2000.

Holiday Inn-Ashland Richmond North, Ashland, Virginia April 1996 to August 1999 General Manager: Established all accounting and cost controls for a 165-room 2.9 million-dollar full service hotel. Increased GOP by $340,000 in 1996 and showed a monthly profit in the Food & Beverage department for the first time ever at this hotel. Hired and trained sales staff who helped to increase our corporate market occupancy and ADR in 1997 by 7% and $5.25 respectfully. I developed new Food & Beverage concept,
