Served as counter terrorism team lead for the CJTF-HOA J2, managing a team of four joint service analysts. Researched, evaluated, and produced a full range of all-source intelligence products on violent extremist organization in Somalia while providing supplemental support on South Sudan, Sudan, Ethiopia, Eritrea, Kenya, Djibouti, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, Tanzania, Mauritius, Comoros and Seychelles. * Produced fused intelligence reports on political and military capabilities of Somalia and intentions of individuals and groups. * Produced in-depth intelligence assessments on military political leadership, national military strategy, doctrine, regional relations, and security issues for Somalia. * Monitored activities, developments, patterns and trends, regime stability, dynamics, national security strategy, and political-military relations of multiple East African nations. * Maintained situational awareness of regional political and military capabilities of nations within the CJTF-HOA Area of Responsibility. * Identified funding sources and wealth transfer methods of terrorist organizations within the AOR.* Evaluated intelligence reporting on East Africa and formulates future collection requirements.
