After 10+ years of working with both embedded software (especially Linux) and FPGA's I have developed a real passion for finding the optimal solution for embedded problems. Sometimes a task that is difficult in hardware can easily be solved in software or vice versa. I really believe most problems can be solved in a simple/logical way. Complex problems deserve a simple solution, it's just sometimes hard to find that simple solution.Next to embedded software I've always had a passion for music and creativity in general. To me designing (software) products is the same as a "real" art form, there are different ways of solving a problem, but I always aim for the solution that has that "something" extra. A big plus for embedded software is that I'm more into minimalist then baroque.After having worked for the same company for 10+ years, I'm now taking the step to become a freelance problem solver for other companies.
