Welcome to my Linkedln! I am expected to graduate from the University of Massachusetts Lowell in 2024 with a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science. During my education I have acquired experience in research, fieldwork and laboratory settings, as well as attained skills in GIS applications, Water/Soil Sampling, Soil Science and Geochemistry Laboratory practices. I have also acquired Osha's HAZWOPER Certification, and am on the lookout for more learning opportunities.I am passionate about finding solutions for various environmental issues and challenges, such as climate change, pollution, conservation, and sustainability. My career and research interests include a diversity of Environmental and Earth Science fields including Soil Science and Biogeochemistry.While I finish up my degree I am actively seeking opportunities to break into the field that will allow me gain experience and connections that will assist in the transition into my post-graduate career.I'm very excited to begin work in the Environmental/Earth science field, so as my nephews grow up I can tell them I'm a "scientist", and blow their minds with cool facts about Rocks, Minerals, and Soil! (Their mother knows they play in the dirt enough already, but I'll help them do it ~scientifically~)
