Direct all manufacturing activities for a 350,000 sq. ft. fresh refrigerated vegetable and fruit factory that processes roughly 154MM pounds of raw products into 29MM finished goods cases. Led a team of 15 salaried associates (3 managers and 12 supervisors), and 380 manufacturing hourly associates across two manufacturing plants. Total budget responsibilities of $70MM. •Led and sustained the “Zero Loss Culture” change of the site’s largest team to improving overall safety program engagement that has contributed to the site achieving a 1.72 TRIR.•Led Salinas’s leadership team in FSSC22000 surveillance audit (Food Safety Certification System) re-certification as interim plant director.•Achieved 1.6MM in savings in 2014 and an additional 1.4MM in 2013. First two years in position, exceeded budgetary expectations with YOY improvements in both labor costs t and improved raw and packaging MUV’s. Developed productivity monitors to indicate lowest cost solution of products manufactured across a multiple of manufacturing lines. Focused CI resource teams to “monitor, verify and validate” ideas and implemented improvements. •Drove 5MM in customer profit margin increase in reduced shelf shrink. Led National Ultrasonic sealing quality Improvement Team reducing national leaker average for bagged salads from 5.5% to 2.94%. YOY improvement of 33% •Returned 258K in reduced labor and a 38% increase in capacity on Clamshell productivity. Led plant Clamshell throughput initiative for 2014. •Implemented employee empowered based development program for all manufacturing supervision. Assigned 3 person production teams to specific areas of manufacturing (Mini-Factories) which gave team ownership for personal safety, food safety, product quality, CI improvements, productivity, labor planning and budgeting, labor costs & raw MUV’s and reporting results to senior management.

Directly responsible for all plant scheduling, purchasing, product trace-back and disposal for one of the largest value added fresh produce companies all while being compliant within SOX (Sarbanes Oxley Act 2002). Led a team of 5 schedulers/buyers and 6 inventory clerks managing and scheduling up to 175 FG product sku’s (domestic, Canadian and private label), 48 raw commodities and up to 350 packaging and crew supplies.•Member of the implementation leadership team that achieved FSSC 22000 certification (Food Safety System Certification) for the largest value added fresh produce company in the world to be certified under this international standard.•Drove phase 1 & 2 MPS/MRP system enhancements that led to a regional collaboration of 9 new system improvements which improved YOY customer service levels. •During tenure, led multiple continuous improvement projects that led to the reduction of FG disposal YOY from 1MM in 2004 to less than 240K in 2013.•Led Chicago in system and platform realignment. Developing 6 new enhancement planning/scheduling tools including national standardization of FG projected inventory and production capacity planning tool (Rough Cut).•Led the joint collaboration with two National teams (Customer Service & Demand Planning) performing system scrub of customer product freshness rules and allocation system logic. Contributing to service improvements of 94.4%, exceeding prior years. •Achieved 540K in network savings through the collaboration with National Supply Base Management team. Identified and evaluated opportunities throughout regional plants in leveraging and standardizing packaging supplies that led to RFQ. •Achieved 400K in network savings through the collaboration of crew supplies with regional plants by partnering with internal teams and identifying high quality lower cost solutions.

Responsible for optimal product rotation, warehouse organization and distribution office operations. Facilitated training for distribution, inventory and other warehouse personnel.•Designed and developed new system modules for shipping and receiving within ERP to centralize customer order management. •Developed new customer order product account history modules for sales to insure quick customer response.
