Professional Services Department working on-site and remotely in the field conducting customer installs, maintaining, or restoring their production environments through established services and support processes. As a PS Engineer, it is crucial to maintain a high level of customer success through engagement directly with customers and Pivot3 stakeholders in Operations, Engineering, and Sales. Develop and maintain extensive working knowledge of Pivot3’s solutions, Surveillance, and Hyper-Converged Infrastructure leveraging VMware ESXi and sometimes implementing vCenter. Establish, keep, or follow technical support processes promptly, and leverage industry standards and Pivot3 developed tools as necessary.

Maintain all aspects of the Microsoft SCCM and Microsoft SCOM Enterprise Management System to include SCCM Infrastructure, SCCM Administrator console, Software/Hardware Inventory, Software Distribution, SCOM Infrastructure, SCOM Administrator and Operator Consoles and SCOM monitoring and alerting. Design, test, and implement upgrades and enhancements to existing SCCM and SCOM environment. With this software, worked on test locally and throughout the United States supporting data stimulation, simulation, analysis, and reduction. Required to maintain Information Assurance packages for this software suite to maintain Department of Defense compliancy. In addition to these requirements, responsible for putting together the paperwork to obtain a Certificate of Networthiness so the software could be used on a military network. As the Information Systems Manager for 4th ID, responsible for the administration and technical support of 2 ½ million dollars worth multiple computer systems and software applications, to include Windows NT and 2000 Servers and workstations while administering the Primary Domain Controller, multiple Backup Domain Controllers, Active Directory, Exchange, Web Servers, and Army Battlefield Command Systems (ABCS). Managed, administrated, and "trouble shot" multiple Cisco routers and switches for the Division. While deployed to Iraq, in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, responsibilities included design, administration and system upgrades of the tactical LAN/WAN consisting of over 900 users and 800 computers while managing a team of technicians responsible for technical support of both classified and unclassified networks. Additional duties included VTC Network administration, end user training for multiple software applications, technical documentation and systems life cycle management. Assisted with writing proposal's and re-designing the Division Tactical Command Post to become a more robust communication hub for Operation Iraqi Freedom I, to include the ability for remote terminal use of all server's within the G-6 section and throughout the Division Tactical Command Post.

Selected by the Battalion Commander of the 10th Mountain Division, 10th Signal Battalion to assist with the fielding of the Brigade Subscriber Node for a WIN-T Monmouth Project. As the leader of this team I was directly in charge of two Non-Commissioned Officer's and four soldiers. As a Team we were responsible for test, maintaining, and recommending changes to a Qualcom cell network (operating in secure and non-secure communications), setting up tunnels on the NIPERNET to run the secure side of cellular communication through. Developed a modification for the thirty meter mask to assemble the cellular antenna below the Band I and Band III+ antenna head. Testing of this system lead to several changes in the new HCLOS radio system that enable us to open the Data and Voice communication pipes from 4 MB to 8 MB pipes between Division Command Post and the Battalion Command Post. Throughout this project maintained responsible/accountable for over 2 million dollars worth of equipment.

Responsibilities of Team Chief was to maintain Band I and Band III communication links with the Division Command Post and lower. Ensure all data and voice communication were setup and operational within 45 minutes of occupying a site (to include proper shot alignment and location for the best possible reception). Directed by Division to assist other Team's with getting there shot's in when they were not able to do so. Installed and maintained Single Channel Satellite communication for the Division and directly responsible for installing and operating the first NATO Analog Interface Adapter into the European Communication Network and the United States Army Communication network allow us to convert from 4-Wire Communication to 6-Wire Communication whiles on deployment to Bosnia in 1999. Responsible for over 2 ½ million dollars worth of equipment and the health and welfare of five soldiers on two team's (I-16 and I-17). As the Team leader responsible for ensuring all COMSEC was properly accounted for and destroyed as necessary during each exercise.
