    My recruitment was project based for the EXPO 2020 in Dubai. Upon joining Franek, I was offered full time recruitment, to establish a hospitality division within the company, responsible for the pre-opening and management of EXPO Village, offering full hotel apartment services for 2,300 apartments, located over 15 podiums. The department and services were designed to provide full outsourced services to the hotel industry in general. Achievements: • Designed and created all job descriptions for the hospitality senior roles• Personally interviewed and selected all senior positions• Established a reservations team to assist in negotiations and implementation of Opera as a reservations system for EXPO 2020, based on their requirements• Successfully created SOP’s together with my selected HOD’s for all relevant departments• Successfully implemented an Asset Management program for receiving and managing all FF&E + OS&E items during the event. • A set uniform for all staff members was successfully created and implemented for all departments • Developed a strong relationship with all partners and ensured smooth running of the village throughout the EXPO 2020 event, which ran at 97% occupancy. • Established training manual and programs based on our SOP’s together with HOD’s • Successfully negotiated with Linen Craft for linen rental solutions, which saved farnek AED 3,000,000.00 in procurement and cleaning expenses throughout the event. • Successfully established back of house locations for operational requirements, including a staff cafeteria and washrooms facilities to accommodate 450 staff members. • Created the guest journey to facilitate an APP, known as “FlexiGuest”, which was designed to allow guests to make reservations, provide documentation and self -check in.
