Responsible for client liaison, project delivery, costing, bidding, design and day-to-day operation of air quality monitoring equipment and projects to a variety of client businesses, from the Department of Main Roads to the Australian Defence Force and many private organisations.Key Achievements:• High sample rate wind speed monitoring to determine shock loading on a lighting stand during aircraft ground-run activities at an airport apron for a government client.• Delivered a particulate monitoring program to determine a baseline for the Inland Rail project.• Design and delivery for the air quality component of an extensive external air and noise network for the Meandu mine in the South Burnett region in Queensland.• Implementation of a dust monitoring system for remediation activities at the former Alcan Gove refinery in the Northern Territory.• Developed compliance documentation and procedures for the expansion of AECOM’s NATA accreditation to cover particulate and gaseous real-time monitoring equipment.

Ecotech bought Alstom's Chemistry and Environmental business in 2012. Largely working on the handover of Alstom projects to Ecotech ownership and systems, I have had the opportunity to see how an equipment supplier operates differently from an end-user.

Providing exemplary service to clients as a Ambient Air Consultant and Instrument technician - in this role I have been exposed to a wide range of Australian Standard monitoring methods, as well as delivering non-standard monitoring to clients for specific purposes. Highlights include the development and deployment of an computer-based maintenance scheduling and tracking database to support Alstom's attainment of NATA accreditation for ambient air monitoring methods, and delivery of ambient air monitoring service for many and varied clients across Queensland and in Malaysia.

Working as a Technical Officer in the Queensland Environmental Protection Agency, I was involved with maintaining the EPA monitoring network to allow compliance with the NEPM monitoring strategy, and state government goals. Specific highlights include being involved in the Partisol programme, where PM2.5 equivalency for various TEOM method was being examined, and working on providing particulate monitoring for the Binary Chemicals spill cleanup operation at Narangba.
