Osram Sylvania, Inc., Manchester, NH 01/2000 – 2/2015 Principal Mechanical Engineer II, GET (Global Engineering Technologies) • Project Machine Leader, C4 Autopress, Winchester, KY, $2M. Glass Melting and forming Machine was delivered 1 month early and 3% under budget. • Project Machine Leader, BAM Machine, XP2 Production line Hillsboro, NH, $8M production line producing 1200 parts/hr designed built and installed two months early and under budget. • Project Leader, Silver Coat Sputtering, Winchester, KY. $750K. Project from concept to install of a Staubli Robotic cell to process reflector lamps thru silver coating sputtering machine. • Lead Mechanical Engineer, Central Falls, RI. Productivity improvements on glass inspection and packaging line utilizing Kuka robots. Target goals to increase throughput, reduce shrinkage, and improve efficiency’s from 80% to 95% achieved. • Project Leader, Dura One, Drummondville, Canada. Productivity improvements florescent bulb coating line. Efficiency increased 12%. Shrinkage reduced 8%.
