Responsible for the development of total integrated schedule for a $30,000,000 CP project (Kinston, NC), consisting of sub-plans for engineering, procurement, construction, and start-up / commissioning. This effort includes the setting up of WBS and system structures, reconciling with scope and equipment documentation, and estimate / manpower loading to assist with determining if the initial direction of the project should be cost or schedule driven. Schedule lead for $7,000,000 Dupont Performance Coatings relocation project in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Traveled to and worked with local Brazilian engineering firm (Genpro), and US based construction management group to create a resource loaded plan for completing the new project expansion by critical 1 year dead-line. Tracked weekly progress and reported critical path issues, as well as suggested recovery plans to the project team. Responsible for the development of a total integrated schedule for an annual shutdown at DuPonts largest Teflon facility, in Parkersburg WV. Utilizing Microsoft project (site preferred software), created a 10,000-activity resource loaded schedule that would include 5 separate area sub-projects, all to be completed in a 2-week turn-around. Trained two schedulers, as well as area managers, in scheduling processes and software utilization. Established protocols, and made recommendations for future scheduling endeavors. Developed construction schedule for a $60,000,000 Sentry Glas project at DuPont’s Fayetteville, NC facility, for their site subcontractor, Fluor Daniel. Worked with engineering group (JBEK) to integrate design and construction activities as well as establishing scheduling protocols. Trained two Fluor Daniel employees in scheduling with both Primavera (3.1) and Microsoft Project (97). Addressed, with DuPont management, scheduling concerns and recommendations for future resource driven efforts
