MEYTEC PTY LTD has taken on the role of representative for CEMTEC Cement and Mining Technology GmbH Equipment in Australia and New Zealand CEMTEC's range of equipment in the cement and mineral and metals processing industries are Ball Mills, Rod Mills, SAG Mills, AG Mills, Rotary Dryers, Kilns, Pelletising Discs, Mixing Drums, Washing Drums and Flue Gas Desulphurization (FGD) Systems.CEMTEC's On Line Particle Sizing equipment (CEOPS) for wet and dry applications has been added to the equipment offered.

Assisting Downer in the Power Generation sector in the development of a Services and Outage capability, providing assistance to our Clients in the area of heat exchanger inspection, repair, retrofit/ modification and efficiency improvement.

In February 2012 I was offered and accepted the role of Senior Project Manager with Xstrata Technology based in Brisbane for a project in Armenia. The Project entailed the engineering design, procurement and supply of a complete Albion Process TM plant to be installed at an existing Gold extraction process plant site located in Ararat, Armenia. During the engineering design phase, a new modular tank design had to be developed, prototyped and manufactured. Equipment and component manufacture were sourced in the international market and supplied from multiple locations in Europe, Asia and the USA. The project was delivered in February 2014.

In 2007 I accepted the role of operations manager of the Brisbane based Power Systems – Generation business unit leading a team of eleven (11) engineers and drafters preparing tender submissions, developing design and delivery methods/models of company core products and services to the power generation industry, thereby re-establishing the Downer generation business with our former and new clients as a provider of products and services such as: - Heat Recovery Steam Generators (HRSG’s)- Condensing and Feed Heating Equipment- Compact Pressure Balanced Bellows- Phase Isolated Busduct- Refurbishment of Condensers and Heaters- Front End Engineering Design StudiesResponsibilities included identifying, selecting and engaging Asian-based suppliers and manufactures of power generation products and balance of plant equipment to provide cost effective and timely solutions and products to the Australian and New Zealand generation markets. Downer EDI closed the Power Systems – Generation Business Unit in January 2012 due to a sharp downturn of project work in the Australian Power Generation market.
