Roles:• Perform routine preventive maintenance tasks on mechanical equipment, machinery, and systems to ensure reliability and longevity.• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.• Repair or replace faulty components, such as motors, bearings, belts, valves and hydraulic, and pneumatic components.• Assist in the installation , assembly, and setup of new mechanical equipment and systems.• Follow technical specifications, blueprints, and assembly instructions accurately.• Conduct inspections and functional tests on mechanical systems to identify problems or areas of improvement. • Calibrate and align mechanical components, instruments, and machinery to ensure accurate operation and performance.• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, inspections, and equipment modifications.• Update maintenance logs and documentation as required.• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working with mechanical equipment.• Follow established procedures for handling hazardous materials and waste.• Respond to emergency situations involving mechanical failures and take appropriate actions to mitigate risks.• Collaborate with other maintenance team members, engineers, and operators to optimize processes and address mechanical issues.• Assist in training junior technicians and operators on mechanical equipment operation, maintenance, and safety procedures.

Roles:• Ensuring preventative maintenance is done on a daily basis.• Advising the management on the best ways to achieve high productivity with the existing equipment’s.• Carrying out commissioning of new projects and startups.• Training of operators on the optimum use of the machines in place.• Maintaining a safe and clean environment within the process area.• Monitoring the service contracts with suppliers to ensure that maintenance and any repair work is carried out to the required standards• Custodian of service manuals and schematics for every piece of equipment to carry out basic servicing and repair of all equipment, and to order for the required maintenance items and test equipment.• Documenting written procedures for preventive maintenance and advise the team accordingly.• Scheduling and implementing maintenance systems.• Developing and maintaining an inventory of repair parts and test equipment necessary to ensure minimum down time.• Assisting the Factory engineer in preparing the maintenance department annual budget in consultation with the managing director and to monitor and control material usage to ensure cost-effectiveness in all jobs.• Ensuring availability of the equipment’s and advise on improvements required.• Ensuring short breakdown times.• Monitoring and implementing cost reduction.• Scheduling for upgrading programs of process.

 Schedule and assign employee’s work based production needs (man power). Monitor equipment performance and to report key performance indicators to the management team Supervise activities of hourly production and maintenance employees.
