Walter is a strong team leader and possesses a wide range of User-Centered Design, Engineering, Human Factors and Design-for-Manufacturing experience including medical devices, consumer electronics, furniture, housewares and toys. Walter has over 15 years of Product Development, Engineering and Manufacturing experience, with over 15 years of hands on experience utilizing state of the art CAD modeling packages including SolidWorks, SolidWorks Simulation and Fusion 360 with Certifications Advanced Modeling. Walter specializes in Medical Device Development and has created many products utilizing an in depth knowledge of navigating the product development process within ISO 13485 and FDA 510K requirements. Innovative Designs Developed by Walter and his teams have won such awards as the 2011 Edison Award for Best New Product in the Health, Wellness and Safety category.At ASU, Walter was chosen to lead a multidisciplinary team of Designers and Engineers for the Intel sponsored program known as Innovation Space.
