About Walter Gray Cpcu
After graduating from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1976, my insurance career began in life insurance sales in my home town of Gastonia, NC. I joined Watson Insurance in 1979 and realized quickly that education was extremely important in this very technical industry. I earned my Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation in 1983. I have continued to learn about the technical aspects of our business since that time. Learning something new each day is what makes my business so enjoyable.I am a true “generalist” insurance agent, serving accounts in manufacturing, contracting, real estate, and health care. I seek to control all costs of risk, especially worker’s compensation costs. I am well versed in the various aspects of the experience modifier and also assist clients in their bonding needs. My reputation is my stock in trade in this industry that is built on trust and relationships.I have built a long-term reputation of honesty and integrity with my insurance carriers. This allows me to utilize these relationships for my client’s best interests.
