We create a pipeline of students that are motivated by our programming to have longer term success strategies, make different choices, and develop success behaviors. We utilize incentives including gift cards, trips, laptops, hotspots, printers, flash drives and backpacks encourage behavior changes at achieve measurable results, grade improvement, improved attendance and reduced disciplinary referrals and incidences of bullying or being bullied. Data: To date we have served over 1,500 students; 600 earning our technology incentives. Over 80% demonstrate significant improvement in at least one or more areas we measure. Improving attendance can improve a student’s GPA, 1.0. Doing homework results in improving a student’s GPA, 1.0 and reducing discipline challenges by managing behavior, improves a student’s GPA, 1.0. Students with less than a 2.0 GPA can increase their GPA beyond a 3.0. We identify “Academically disengaged” students; while highly Intelligent, are attracted by money, the opportunity to have a since of belonging, advancement and entrepreneurship offered by “gangs”. Those alternative economy businesses look at prison as the cost of business and as "institutions of higher learning", where relationships, networks and skills are developed that will serve them when they get out. We Inspire them that there are other choices in the traditional economy, where their goals can be achieved, with less risk and a higher ROI.
