Founder of the World Players Association, a global platform of player associations and unions with affiliates representing approximately 100,000 elite athletes from over 60 countries worldwide and a sector of UNI Global Union (www.uniglobalunion.org).Member organizations include the NHLPA, NFLPA, FIFPRO (World Football Players Union), FICA (World Federation of Professional Cricketers Associations), IRPA (International Rugby Players Association), EU Athletes (European Federation of Player Associations), AAA (Australian Athletes Alliance), and the JPBPA (Japanese Professional Baseball Players Association). Official duties included leading all aspects of administration and relationships with member organizations; organizing conferences/meetings facilitating the exchange of best practice; chairing the employee side of the European Social Dialogue in the European Sport Sector (a form of European level collective bargaining); representing UNI Sport PRO in front UN institutions including UNESCO, the UN Global Compact; and as an observer at World Anti Doping Agency meetings.

Co-founded the European Elite Athletes Association (EU Athletes) in 2007 and served as its General Secretary until June of 2012. EU Athletes is a federation of European athlete associations and unions which grew to represent 34 organizations and over 25,000 top athletes. Official duties included leading all aspects of administration and relationships with member organizations; the organization of conferences/meetings; filing applications for and implementing European Union funded projects; and representing EU Athletes in front of European institutions including the Council of the EU, the European Commission, and the European Parliament.

UBE is the federation of European basketball player associations.

Co-founder of SP.IN, a labor union for professional basketball players in Germany.

Led a project called "Preparation for Social Dialogue for Elite Athletes within the European Union". The project brought together athlete associations from all over Europe for conferences and seminars to discuss common issues and to prepare for social dialogue with employer social counterparts.

33rd pick in the 1990 NBA Draft. Played two seasons in the NBA with the Utah Jazz and Dallas Mavericks; then played in Italy, Spain, Argentina, France, and Germany over the next eleven years.
