I owned and operated a College Pro Window Cleaning franchise for two seasons. In this time, I was responsible for all aspects of the business such as recruiting and interviewing, managing finances and administration, and business planning and setting goals. In my first season, I took over an area that had done $20,000 in sales the past year. With the invaluable help of my employees and coach I was able to increase that number to more than double that number, $45,000 by the end of 2017. This first season taught me the importance of long-term planning, something that was practically absent from my business until mid-way through Spring. As a result, I worked through the cold fall months and around my university commitments in order to reach my inspirational sales goal of $45,000 and receive the President's Club sales award.In my second season, I ironed out past mistakes and focused on increasing efficiency in order to bring out the maximum possible capacity of my single crew. I began planning in January instead of mid-May and the results were astronomical. Less than halfway into the 2018 season, I had already surpassed my 2017 yearend sales. I hit my yearend sales goal in June and kept working towards the next milestone of $80,000. Through another fall term and invaluable help from my coach and employees, I was able to reach $80,000 and receive a Platinum award for sales.

I obtained this entry-level window cleaning job in April of 2016. Less than a month into the job, I was promoted to Assistant Manager in order to help the owner delegate tasks and produce more work in the limited time that we had. We had a very successful season in 2016 and I played an essential role in helping my manager obtain a President's Club award that year.
