Duracar, a high-tech startup, specializes in developing light electric last-mile delivery vehicles for groceries or package delivery.My task was to develop a Supply Chain/Procurement Plan for sourcing the entire cabin of Duracar's LEV. Including the selection and definition of materials, processes, quality standards, specifications, investments, and suppliers for ABS sheet extrusion, thermoforming, aluminum extrusion, frame welding, powder coating, and assembly processes.Key achievements✅ Materials selected (ABS/PMMA and Aluminium) and processes defined (thermoforming, extrusion, and outsourcing assembly)✅ Drawn up a long list of 100+ suppliers, and selected 3 suitable suppliers per process step based on quality level, price level and flexibility✅ Investment plan for required production tooling

Propel, a high-tech startup within the Saietta Group, specializes in developing electric inboard and outboard motors for marine applications. Unfortunately, due to financial difficulties faced by Saietta, Propel had to cease its operations in the summer of 2023.As Head of Operations, my initial responsibility was to scale up production from prototype manufacturing to series production. In March '23, I became engaged in the quest for a potential buyer for Propel, and by July, it became my duty to halt all activities at Propel and transfer the intellectual property to Saietta.Key achievements✅ Defined the series production operations (selection of production partner, a procurement plan, investement plan & service/warranty plan, and implemented Exact ERP)✅ Compiling a list of 20+ potential investors and pitching Propel✅ Dissolve all of Propel, staff, supplies, contracts and recall of delivered products within 3 months

Alfen Charging Equipment (ACE), a rapidly expanding high-tech scale-up within the Alfen Group, specializes in the development and manufacturing of electric vehicle charging solutions. Since its establishment in 2015, ACE has consistently achieved impressive annual turnover growth rates ranging from 70% to 100%. I have actively contributed to ACE's growth and development through various roles.As Head of Logistics, I managed all logistical operations within ACE, including inbound, in-house, service, and outbound logistics, overseeing three teams totaling 35 FTE. Upon joining, inefficient logistics posed a hindrance to ACE's further expansion. I implemented a logistics reorganization, eliminating this bottleneck.Key achievements✅ Reorganized the logistic team (split in 3 teams)✅ Outsourcing warehousing (3PL) and organizing transport (TMS)✅ Continuous improvement cycle with 7 impactful improvements per month

As Supply Chain Manager, my responsibilities included ensuring a sustainable, smooth, and uninterrupted flow of necessary goods to ACE. This encompassed building and leading a team of 5 FTE.Throughout this period marked by numerous extreme supply chain challenges such as COVID lockdowns, raw material shortages, fluctuating prices and lead times, sea transport disruptions, among others, ACE has experienced remarkable growth, scaling production from 5,000 to 200,000 charging points annually.Key achievements:✅ Establishing a resilient multi-source and multi-tier supply chain enabled ACE to effectively navigate market fluctuations.✅ Designing and developing a monthly, 12-month rolling Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP). Including a bucket planning, a committed supplier forecast, and personnel planning.✅ Establishing a self-managing supply team with a continuous improvement mindset.

Farm Dairy is a producer of fresh dairy (milk, yoghurt and custard) and is owned by Friesland Campina. In the role Production Manager I led the production department (15 FTE).
