About Walter Scheelen

I started out as an Helpdesk officer for a medium sized organisation. In that job I grew into the role of System Engineer. After the acquisition of Inalfa by the Punch group I left the company for about a year. I came back in the same role but got also the responsability for 2 other sites in the same area.In 2006-2007 the Punch holding decided to centralize it's entire organisation. I played a large part in the migration and consolidation process for the 3 sites I was responsible for and 2 new sites in Germany.After the migration projects I've been busy and playing with Altiris, Commvault E-mail archiving, Cisco Switches, Windows Server 2008, Windows 7, Windows 8Update 01/2014: new skills learned in Windows Server 2012, Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager 2012 R2, Lync 2013Update 01/2016: Xeikon (Point-IT's mother) has been acquired by Flint Group. A global leader in the printing and inks business. Early 2010 our IT organization will be setup as a seperate company (Point-IT) providing services to all Punch companies.
