In my 20s, I drove a ’72 Chevelle with a ’66 Corvette engine. I loved that car. It had grit—a lot like my filmmaking style. 

I’m a three-time Emmy Award-winning videographer living in metro Detroit with particular strengths in cinematography and editing. I own and operate Walter Vincent Films LLC, and I’ve been an independent filmmaker since 2009, specializing in journalistic-style photography and videography. I have a passion for short-form and long-form video projects and production work associated with creative music videos, commercials, documentaries and films. I’ve also produced a feature film and three documentaries with distribution deals in four countries. 

As a Marine, I learned the importance of mission accomplishment and troop welfare, and I expect my teams to work in that spirit. It’s not an option to not get the work done. I value initiative, drive and being helpful and engaged. If a person doesn’t have those qualities, it becomes difficult to accomplish the mission. I care about my teams, so I make sure they have the tools they need to be successful.
