As Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships and Growth, I lead efforts to cultivate relationships with corporate partners, community organizations, and stakeholders. I develop and execute fundraising strategies to secure financial support from contracts, sponsorships, grants, and contributions. My role involves identifying and pursuing opportunities for program expansion and collaborating with internal teams to implement strategic plans. Additionally, I manage international expansion efforts, forge partnerships to extend our reach, and build relationships throughout New England. As part of the Development Team, I work alongside the Programming Team to ensure seamless integration and execution of our strategic initiatives.

As Director of Entrepreneurship Programs, I led the development, execution, and oversight of Innovation Studio business development programs in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. By disrupting traditional models, I co-created impactful programs like INSPIRE, CREATE, SHARE, GROW, and SCALE, fostering a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem. My efforts helped narrowed the racial wealth gap and drove economic empowerment by supporting business ownership among marginalized communities. We addressed the needs of refugees, immigrants, and BIPOC individuals, enriching community diversity. Our culturally sensitive approach ensured programs were data-driven and tailored to each community, creating an inclusive environment for all.

I have specialized on entrepreneurship and business development in which I have obtained the following achievements:1. Designing, accompanying and implementing the Regional Entrepreneurship Strategy for Central America (SICA-EMPRENDE);2. Being the author and promoter of the National Entrepreneurship Policy: "Guatemala Emprende", officialized in 2015 by the President of Guatemala;3. Planning and executing the First and Second Seed Capital Fund in Guatemala (EMPRENDEGT), a $10 million fund aimed at implementing business models with national and international market potential;4. Organize, of also the first, Entrepreneurship Festival in Guatemala: Heroes Fest whose objective was to promote innovation, entrepreneurship, education, science and technology in the present and future generations of Guatemala;5. Drafting the Entrepreneurship Law as well as lead and present it before congressmen and women;6. Led the Strategic Planning of the Business Development Services Directorate;7. Development and execution of the Microfranchise Program;8. Structuring and execution of the Entrepreneurship Centers -CEM (by its acronym in Spanish)- and the SME Centers under the public-private partnership model;9. Structuring and creation of the Office for the Coordination of Statistics of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises -OCSE MIPYME-;10. Structuring and execution of the Youth Employment Program;11. USAID's Creating Economic Opportunities (CEO) Project aims to develop a system to generate drastic improvements in job creation, investments, mobilization of financial resources, productive infrastructure, promotion of new Entrepreneurships and growth of SMEs.The purpose is to develop an ecosystem that produces results beyond the life of the project. The mission of ASEGUA is to minimize the risk of failure in entrepreneurs, to promote entrepreneurship, to improve the conditions to make it easier and less expensive, and to unify the entrepreneurial ecosystem in order to boost the economy through business growth and diversification.

In order to help companies grow, I led the structuring and execution of projects within the Ministry such as the following:1. Strategic Management Planning for the next five years (2015-2019) under four main axes: Entrepreneurship, Business Development, Competitiveness and Financing.2. Development and execution of the Microfranchise Program.3. Structuring and Execution of Entrepreneurship Centers (CEM) under the public-private partnership model. Accompaniment program aimed at all those with the desire to start a business by providing training, tools and support through methodologies that allow entrepreneurs to validate business projects from ideation to start-up.4. Structuring and Execution of Mipyme Service Centers (Promipymes) under the public-private alliance model: Accompaniment program aimed at all those entrepreneurs in the Mipyme sector where business development services are provided with the purpose of improving innovation , productivity and business management.5. Structuring and execution of the Youth Employment Program of the European Union: Job creation and vocational education program for young people in Guatemala aimed at improving the living conditions of young people in Guatemala.

As the first National Advisor for the Promotion of Entrepreneurship I had the opportunity to lead the following processes:1. Design, support and execution of the Regional Entrepreneurship Strategy for Central America (SICA-EMPRENDE);2. Author and Promoter of the National Entrepreneurship Policy: "Guatemala Emprende", officialized in 2015 by the President of Guatemala;3. Design, support and execution of the first and second Seed Capital Fund for business models with national and international market potential;4. Drafting of the Entrepreneurship Law as well as present it before the Congress which will also be the basis for promoting legislation in favor of entrepreneurship for Central America countries. The law was approved, with modifications, by the Congress on October 2, 2018.5. Support in the restructuring of the Municipal Entrepreneurship Center (CME) for the city of Guatemala Mayor's office.“Entrepreneurship is the shortest path for Development!”

Prospect and development of new businesses as well as the design, creation and execution of the Rural Business Incubation Program –PIER- both in the central and the eastern region of Guatemala. Program that consists of a unique and highly flexible combination of business development processes, infrastructure and human resources designed to nurture and grow new business models taking into account the economic and social peculiarities of a rural environment.

Creation of the International Commerce Department within the Corporation, with all its guidelines and organizational policies. International purchasing assistant in conjunction with the President of the Corporation, analyzing the futures market to place purchases in the CBOT –Chicago Board of Trade-, specifically in relation to commodities (Corn, Soybeans, Soy Flour). Supervise and coordinate the entire import logistics chain of products.
