I currently work on efficient GPU allocation for foundational models. With my team, I'm building a automated system that ensures that all of Microsoft's GPU capacity, previously siloed, is fungible and can be quickly reallocated to different foundational models as needed. Standards for reliability are high.My most recent project prior to that was supporting seamless, no-code deployment of transformers models via the open source ML framework MLflow, enabling users to deploy their LLM models on Azure ML compute at the click of a button.Earlier in my time at Microsoft, I worked on integrating Azure ML with MLflow's tracking and model registries, building out a set of new APIs with high SLA. Both the no-code deployment work and this have included designs with and contributions to the MLflow OSS team.At the start of my full-time work, I spent two years working on machine learning interpretability (working with libraries like SHAP, LIME, EBM), getting that feature off the ground with a couple of other engineers. The majority of my work is C# service code, with occasional client and service code in Python and very occasional UX work in Typescript.
