This required written and verbal communications with customers, traveling to customer sites, and working with sales and account teams to develop strategies to improve our sales pitch. Software Product Manager Mercedes Benz CP211 (1999 – 2002)• Managed a development team of the next generation telematics system for the Mercedes Benz redesigned E-Class for model year 2003. Team included about 30 developers in the US, Germany, Australia, and India. • Chief Architect and led system integration which took place locally and in Germany. This was the most complex product that TCG had ever taken on. It used five hardware variations for US and European markets. No other product team at TCG had ever delivered more than a single variant. This required new CM and defect tracking processes to be developed using Clearcase and ClearQuest. Numerous features were included this product that were new and unique for TCG and Mercedes including a Bluetooth handset, MOST optical communication bus, and IP services.
