This was the most complex product that TCG had ever taken on. It used five hardware variations for US and European markets. No other product team at TCG had ever delivered more than a single variant. This required new CM and defect tracking processes to be developed using Clearcase and ClearQuest. Numerous features were included this product that were new and unique for TCG and Mercedes including a Bluetooth handset, MOST optical communication bus, and IP services.
