Inter-movement community building + organizing for collective impact, across those many pro-democracy movements, is needed to generate the critical mass of collective influence and impact to successfully defend and strengthen our liberal democracy, civic health and social cohesion. Work FocusOur Work focus is on the significant challenge of cooperatively growing and developing a cohesive Pro Democracy Movement & Collective Impact Community. Over time and through hundreds of conversations we have discerned, refined and promoted an inter-movement impact organizing framework & ‘emergent’ theory of generative change through: 1) A series of Organizing for Collective Impact articles in The Fulcrum, 2) Convening a variety of Inter-Movement Community Forum gatherings, and 3) Ongoing cross-movement networking, pollination and liaison work to help make critical connections and ‘encourage’ a sense of Pro Democracy ‘beloved community’, shared purpose and belonging. What We Do Facilitate Inter-Movement Community Forums, Connections & Conversations, Mediate Critical Opportunity & Friction Intersections, Incubate Inter-Movement Synergy Projects and Rally Support for the Key Lever Endeavors that are essential pieces of the transforming American democracy, civic health, and social cohesion puzzle.
